Ceanothus gris. horiz. 'Diamond Heights'

Diamond Heights California Lilac

Evergreen Groundcover, Shrub

This low-growing, ground-hugging variety of California lilac has blue flowers in spring but is most valued for its attractive chartreuse yellow and green variegated foliage. Great as a front-of-the-border ground cover or cascading out of a container or over a wall. Full to part sun in well-drained soil. Not reliably hardy, nor as attractive (due to winter-damaged foliage) in colder gardens, but when it likes what you have to offer, it's an excellent choice.
