Miscanthus sinensis 'Little Miss'

Little Miss Dwarf Maiden Grass

Deciduous Grass / Grass-Like

Green foliage emerges early spring, gradually taking on red and purple tones in summer, intensifying in fall. Foliage color remains green in the center, providing a two-tone effect. Red foliage is a nice back drop for the showy buff-colored seed heads appearing ins late summer and holding on through late fall and into winter. An excellent compact grass for containers. Water regularly when getting it established; will tolerate some drought once it develops a good root system. Cut back hard before new growth commences in spring but leave it up through the winter for as long as it is pleasing. Divide to rejuvenate.
