Eryngium 'Sapphire Blue'

sea holly

Deciduous, Herbaceous Perennial

Showy, star-shaped, steel-blue blooms appear mid to late summer. In bloom, they're a magnet for bees. If left in place, the dried bracts are attractive as dried seed heads and are appreciated by the birds in later summer, into fall. Drought tolerant and okay with poor un-amended soil.
