Silvery Blue Plant Combination for Part Shade

This plant combination is inspired by a vignette that I've been growing in my own shady backyard garden. It looks great year-round and has a some seasonal highlights that put it over the top! My favorite moment is when the clear white blooms of Bletilla 'Innocence' echo the snowy white indumentum of the new foliage of Rhododendron 'Laramie'. The silver variegation of Asarum 'Quicksilver' and the frothy blue foliage of Chamaecyparis 'Iceberg' amplify the effect. Hosta 'June' offers an easy care foliage accent from spring to fall.
