Bletilla striata 'Innocence' is a hardy, easy-to-grow, perennial plant with large white flowers that bloom on tall stalks, reaching 18" tall. Its foliage is broadly ribbed with iris-like leaves that are pleated and lance-shaped. Also known as the Chinese ground orchid, it is a terrestrial orchid that can bloom for several weeks in the garden and can be used as a cut flower. This clump forming perennial is very cold hardy and can survive temperatures as low as -10°F. Grows best in sun to part sun with regular water.
